The ‘CI’ Conical Bend Test apparatus is used to bend coated test panels


with various coatings, like paint, varnish, etc., over a conical shaped


mandrel, to check the elasticity or resistance of coatings to cracking,


detachment or elongation from the test panel.

DESCRIPTION AND CONSTRUCTION:


It has a Sturdy construction. The mandrel is made of stainless steel with large handle for easy and smooth bending of specimen. The sample panel is fixed between the scale by means of two clamping knobs.


The mandrel is tapered from 38mm to 3mm dia. over a length of 200mm.This allows easy identification in a single operation, at specified diameter over entire mandrel length.


Test Panel Size: 100mm x 150mm x 0.8mm
