Gloss measurement is based on the amount of light it reflects.
Measured in Gloss Units (GU).
Gloss is categorized into 3 type : Matt, Semi-gloss, Glossy. The amount of light reflected depends on the angle of incidence and the property of the surface.
Gloss Range with respect to 60° angle
Matt less than 15GU Measured with 85°
Semi Gloss 15-75GU Measured with 60°
High Gloss Greater than 75GU Measured with 20°
